Warranty Terms and Conditions for OLA Electric Scooter
Warranty Period on Battery1) The Warranty on the battery shall exist for a period of 36 month from the date of purchase of the scooter
Warranty Period on Battery2) Warranty is transferable to the subsequent owner for the remaining warranty period and is applicable only in India
Warranty Period on Scooter Component1) All Scooter components are covered under the scooter components warranty for a period of 36 Months from the date of purchase of the scooter or 40,000 km whichever is earlier
Warranty Period on Scooter Component2) All labour costs with respect to the replacement or repair during warranty period shall be borne by the company.
What is not covered under warranty1) Any natural wear and tear and ageing of parts of the scooter. 2) Parts like brake pads, brake discs, bearing, tyre bushes, rubber parts, belt, grommets and seals.
What is not covered under warranty3) Consumables like brake oil system, oil suspension system oil, grease and fastener.
What is not covered under warranty4) Normal maintenance services, including without limitation, cleaning and polishing, wheel balancing, wheel alignment and tyre rotation etc.
What is not covered under warranty5) Replacement of parts as a result of normal wear and tear.6) Damage or failure resulting from use of improper or inferior oils or lubricants.
What is not covered under warranty7) Negligence of carrying out proper maintenance as written in the owner's manual and service manual misuse, abuse, accidents, theft, flooding, fire or taking part in motor races or competitions.
What is not covered under warranty8) Scooters used with sidecars not manufactured or supplied by the company.
What is not covered under warranty9) Use of spare parts other than company's genuine parts or of any device not supplied by the company with the scooter.
What is not covered under warranty10) Modifications, alterations, tampering or improper repairs done at any unauthorized service center.
What is not covered under warranty11) Parts software used in applications of which they not designed or not approved by the company.
What is not covered under warranty12) Tyres originally fitted on the scooter are warranted for directly by the respective manufacturers and not by the company.
